Job Description
Directly responsible for three or more for Department of the Army Civilian Police Officers, Military Policeman and on some installation, Department of the Army Security Guards, while on shift as outlined in the Patrol Distribution Plan.
Perform required lifesaving first aid in the event of an emergency as the first responder to an incident until medical emergency personnel arrive.
Instruct employees in specific tasks and job techniques, and provides on-the-job training to new employees in accordance with established procedures.
Conduct traffic law enforcement patrol using specialized equipment such as radar, Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) and breathalyzer.
Perform protection duties to deter, detect, and deny unauthorized access at fixed installation, internal compound, and incident perimeter posts.
Operates the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) terminal in accordance with federal and state laws to transcribe data.
